The Felician View III

Participants of the art program at the St Felix Centre, Toronto were asked a series of questions. Each question has a specific interpretation attributed to it. The answers to the questions are meant to reflect the hearts and minds of the artists, and to provide some insight into their psyches.

“The dog. I have the Chihuahua. When I go inside the house he's happy. Touch my feet. The dog is smart.”

What is your least favorite animal and why? - Qualities you dislike in other people     
“Mouse. It's ugly.”

What is your favorite colour and why? - How you wish to be perceived
“Red. I like it.”

What is you favorite kind of water and why?- How you perceive love/your ideal love
“Lake. For swimming. For taking sun.”

About the St Felix Centre 

The St Felix Centre is a community centre in the Queen West neighborhood that has a free art program, as well as numerous other services. The art program is available to anyone who wishes to attend, and it provides its clientele with space, materials and assistance for all their artistic endeavors. The classes are mostly opening ended, and give clients the option in participating in projects developed by the program coordinators. Clients have the opportunity to engage activities such as, drawing, soap carving, and other arts and crafts.
