What do you do when you're mentally paralyzed

emotionally exhausted

and your feelings are fractured?

There's a fork in the road and I don't know which way to go.

Do I follow my heart as usual

and give rise to the potential hurt and pain that ensues so many romantic endeavours?

Or do I follow my thoughts

guided by logic and reason

and protect myself from what I fear?

Nothing is as is it seems

what looks red may really be blue

the only way to know is to jump

But I'm so scared.
